Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker will partner with Parker, Smith & Feek, one of the 100 largest insurance brokerage firms in the nation, to present a seminar entitled, “Navigating Performance/Payment Losses and Construction Defect Claims: How Surety Bonds and Insurance Products Can Protect or Fail You,” in Anchorage, Alaska on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. The event starts with breakfast at 8:00 a.m., followed by the seminar from 8:30 a.m. to Noon.

Topics will include bond claims from the broker and surety perspective, including how they are administered, prepared and prosecuted. The seminar will also cover construction defect claims, touching on insurance response and limitations, as well as how builders’ risk, professional and general liability coverage responds to defects in construction projects.

Oles Morrison’s co-managing partner Craig Rusk and partner Pete Ralston, who combined have more than 50 years of experience in construction law, will join Lynne Seville and Stuart O’Farrell from Parker, Smith & Feek and Charles Langfitt from Travelers Insurance.
