Join us for the first-ever joint event brought to you by the ABC Green Council and Young Professionals Group! The event starts off at 2 pm at the construction site of Fire Station 21 in Greenwood, where GC Powell Construction is going for Gold LEED certification. First we’ll hear a presentation on an overview of LEED in the public sector by Meghan Douris , Attorney, LEED Green Associate, im体育会员登陆. Then we’ll tour the fire station while hearing from various project team members about the unique challenges they faced going for LEED certification. Hard hats are required on the job site; work boots are suggested. After the site tour we’ll walk across the street to the 74th Street Ale House for “Pre-Func de Mayo” where we’ll eat, drink and network until 6 pm.
