Oles Morrison attorney, Howard Roth , delves into contract appeals topics applicable to Alaska state ship repair and maritime contracts in the Spring 2015 edition of the AGC Alaska Contractor Magazine. The article, “Contract appeals: How to get an experienced construction law arbitrator or hearing officer,” outlines the relevant steps a contractor should take to obtain an adjudicator experienced in construction law.
Howard has 25 years of government contract law experience, with extensive experience representing businesses, P&I Clubs and underwriters engaged in maritime business, heavy marine construction, and ship repair matters. Howard represents clients on a broad range of government contracts and related litigation matters, including bid protests, contract disputes, claims preparation and litigation.
Prior to joining Oles Morrison, Howard served as Deputy General Counsel for a major military command, a trial team chief in the Army’s Contract Appeals Division, and Commissioner for the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.
