Oles Morrison received the Marketing & Communications Project of the Year award for their efforts in redeveloping their website, oles.com . The award is given to a firm that exemplifies the development of external marketing strategies used to promote the firm’s brand position. The 2017 Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Northwest Awards Program honors law firm marketing teams who created, developed, and executed a successful business development, marketing, communications, or technology strategy between September 2016 and August 2017.
Oles.com launched in June 2017. In addition to a complete re-design and re-build of the website, all new content was created. The new content included: 30+ attorney bios; practice area descriptions; about us and firm history overview; community and careers overviews. To create the content, each attorney at the firm was interviewed to gather information about their own practices, as well as their suggestions for how to accurately describe the work the firm does. The new website also needed new photography to accurately reflect Oles Morrison’s brand identity. Clients hire based on relationships and the firm wanted to allow their clients to get to know the firm through the photos. Oles Morrison chose to use an approachable, friendly headshot style in an outdoor setting that humanized the attorneys and showcased their unique personalities.
This is the second award oles.com has received since the launch in June 2017. In October, the new website received a W³ Award honoring creative excellence on the web. The W³ is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts , an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals.
